Smaller capacity rotators, on the other hand, have a turn-screw that shifts the wheels into position. Self-Adjusting Welding Rotators differ from adjustable styles in that they automatically adapt to the diameter of the tank, using an arrangement of rubber and/or steel wheels to create the smoothest, most stable roll possible. Each wheel angle changes as needed, making these ideal for projects where the diameter variations are minimal. A full-gear drive motor runs four wheels, allowing even the heaviest of pieces to be turned smoothly and efficiently.
