“The fourth day started out very strong,” said JMT President Jared Peterson on the last day of FABTECH 2015. He continued, “Customers are coming back to close deals. I feel this will continue for the rest of the day. 90% of the customers buying today have done their shopping around and are coming back to buy from JMT.”

Other staffers at the booth chimed in on the many successes the team has had at the show this week:

Andrea Jensen, Executive Assistant at JMT said, “This was my first time to the show. I’ve been very impressed with FABTECH Chicago and the strong presence that JMT has had here. Customers are showing great interest by returning back to our booth after their initial visit.”

JMT West Coast Regional Sales Manager Alan Hamilton commented,”There was a lot of interest in our fiber laser line, in spite of the fact that there were many fiber lasers at FABTECH. Many users were impressed with our product offering, national service capability, in-house expertise, and our value-to-price ratio. We expect to sell several fiber lasers as a result of FABTECH.”

Helping to man the booth this week are the sales team from Jorgenson Machine Tools, the originating dealer of the JMT brand. “There is good energy here — a lot of customers are coming to get machines and quotes,” said Bryan “Bud” Jorgenson, sales manager at Jorgenson Machine Tools and co-owner of JMT. “All the staff is working hard to support our customers and close deals.”

“The show has been a great success,” observed Ursula Schroeder, a territory sales manager with Jorgenson. “Customers are excited to see our booth and learn about the products we offer. Our service, support and quality products set us apart from the competition.”

Sheldon Hill, another Jorgenson territory manager, remarked, “The booth is awesome. It is set up very well. We’ve had a lot of traffic and have received many compliments on the size of booth as well as the shipping containers that we repurpose as offices and a mezzanine in the booth. We compare to the big boys. Customers are impressed with the press brakes and laser, and a lot are impressed with the welding turntable. The laser cut samples are a hit!”

Sheldon continued, “We’ve had great success with our customers — a lot of them wanted more info on who we are. They had a genuine interest, with multiple customers coming back every day.”

The JMT service team has also been on hand to help with machine demonstrations and visitor questions.

National Service Manager Bryan Walker noted, “We’ve seen a lot of customers and interest in our machines. Momentum is building for a great year.”

Al Luby, a JMT service tech based in the Midwest, commented, “Returning customers are coming back to see what JMT is offering. There is strong interest.”

“I’m very encouraged with the positive atmosphere in the JMT booth,” said Jeff Sargent, another JMT service tech. “There’s been good traffic. It’s been great. We’ve had different foot traffic compared to last year in Atlanta. Lots of interest.”

JMT service tech Glen Guiver summed up our experience at the 2015 show: “Customers know who JMT is and the interest is real.”
